Filed under: Gigs — the band @ 3:19 pm

‘The best band I’ve seen in this venue for a long time’ - the bar staff, Telfords Warehouse, Chester.

“Many, many thanks for a phenomenal gig on Friday - words escape me! Honestly one of the greatest bands I’ve ever seen - & I’ve seen a lot! I’ve put you a permanent link on our Gig Guide page also, coz I Luv u!” Jon,The Hark 2 Towler, Bury.

“Liverpool outfit The Diesel Fitters are simply one of the greatest bands to come out of the UK in donkeys. Imagine The Pogues mugging The Waterboys whilst out on the lash with The Dubliners & a drunken sailor. Magnificent or wot?!” hark2towler pub, Bury.

THE DIESEL FITTERS LIVE @ THE MAGNET The diesel fitters manage to fuse folk, rock and pop to form a bright and happy gig that would complement a few pints quite nicely. It didn’t take them long to impress the loyal following who ‘fitted in rather well with the 50’s decor. Jokes aside hough, The Diesel Fitters are a tight and talented outfit where songs like ‘Sail Away’ proved they can knock a decent tune out like the best of them. Its just a pity that folky kinda stuff isn’t very fashionable at the mo, if it was i’m sure the NME would be half way up their rectum. For now they’ll have to settle with riotous gigs in Pogiue ahones and being the sweethearts of BBC Radio Merseyside. Not bad eh? - Joe Curran RE:LOAD magazine.

THE DIESEL FITTERS- THE DIESELFITTERS DEBUT ALBUM “A promising debut release by the celtic influencedseven piece which will leave you feeling uplifted and dreamy in equal measures” - Jamie Pike CROSBY HEARALD.

“This band just gets better and better” - Billy Butler BBC RADIO MERSEYSIDE.

”the seven piece band from Liverpool clinched the deciding vote with the judges in one of the closest fought Regional finals, with their highly original Irish-indie fusion performance”- O`Neills Unsigned Bands 06

“What a band to finish the Solfest Drystone stage” Adam, Stage Manager, Drystone
